A duplex scanner perfect for scanning documents and cards. Thanks to the advanced paper guide and image processing technology, stacks of papers of various weights and sizes can be easily scanned, cut and deskewed. Paper sizes vary from 50x50mm up to 240x356mm. The automatic document feeder is strong enough to handle paper with a grammage of 413g/m² or even embossed... cards (e.g. health insurance or credit cards) with a paper thickness of up to 1.25mm. Intuitive operation The AD240U is very easy to use thanks to the LC display. Once the destination folder has been selected and the scan button has been pressed, the scan starts immediately. The scanned image is sent directly to a selected software application, email inbox, printer or image editing software. Up to nine frequently used scan settings can be stored on the buttons. Ultrasonic double sheet detection With the built-in ultrasonic double-sheet detection, the scanner detects overlapping paper by measuring its thickness. If overlapping paper is fed, a warning message appears. Ultrasonic detection can be turned off when scanning documents with stickers or sticky notes. This innovative technology makes it possible to avoid double feeding and still scan a wide range of paper types. Reversing roller and dual motors Improves paper feeding The AD240U has been designed with the innovative reversing roller and dual motors for enhanced paper separation capability, providing excellent reliable paper feeding and operational productivity by effectively reducing the risk of multiple feeds or paper jams.
