The fi-7030 reliably handles scanning of a wide range of documents, from thin to thick (40 - 209 g/m2) and plastic cards including embossed cards. Scanning of extra-long documents up to 5 metres or more is also possible, as is scanning in A3 format using a backing sheet, which is available as an option with the scanner. The fi-7030... scans at a speed of 27 pages/min / 54 images/min (A4, portrait, colour, 200 / 300 dpi), a 35% increase over the previous model. The scanner won't keep you or your customers waiting with its short start-up time of half a second and resumption of operation after sleep mode within 1.0 second.
