This speed and capacity increases with later drives. The IBM 3592 TS1150, TS1155... and TS1160 Tape Drive Model EO8 Gen 5 Drive achieves a native capacity of up to 7 TB with 4608 tracks and with a transfer rate of up to 300 MB/sec with the IBM 3592 JC Tape Cartridge 46X7452. The IBM Enterprise 3592 JC Data Cartridge has an estimated archival life of up to 30 years and comes with a limited lifetime warranty that is free from defects in workmanship and materials for the life of the product.
